Color Intensity

Color intensity is the descriptor word on the report, like Intense, Vivid, Faint, Light. These are important value factors that come in to play when determining the value of a stone. For example, a Vivid Blue Diamond would be more valuable than a Faint blue . Each color intensity in its own color family has its own value. A Vivd yellow diamond, while yes it is vivid, is still not worth more than a Vivid blue, that is because the natural color blue in it self is rare than yellow. Not all colors have the ability to show all color intensities, with certain colors a stone could be solely have its value just because of its color intensity and no other value factor applies.
